Yes, if deemed necessary, residents in University Staff Quarters may call our maintenance service hotline at 2609 6666 during 8:30am to 7:15pm from Monday to Friday and request maintenance service specially to be carried out on Saturday mornings.

A:

Application forms for Postgraduate Halls can be sent to the PGH General Office by email or by fax anytime during the application period.

Can residents report defects or request repair service on Saturday mornings?

A:

Residents can report defects or request repair service anytime during the week as the service counters are open 24 hours daily. PGH General Office will coordinate the work on the next earliest working day.

Will the operation of the Hostel be affected in any way by the implementation of 5DW?

A:

The daily operation of the Hostel is not in any way affected by the implementation of 5DW. Arrangements have been made to ensure sufficient staff on duty during the opening hours of the Hostel. Residents/Visitors can always contact any staff on duty for assistance and report of emergency matters.

Booking of College facilities and equipment can still be made on Saturday after the implementation of 5DW. However, relevant application procedure should be completed during office hours.

Requests for certifying letter can be made in person on Saturday mornings until June 30, 2007 . Alternatively, such request can be made by phone during office hours from Mondays to Fridays or by fax or email anytime during the week.
