Workshop on Dynamical Systems

February 15, 2000 - May 15, 2000

The Institute of Mathematical Sciences

The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Purpose:

The purpose of the proposed workshop is to bring together some of the foremost active and influential researchers in dynamical systems so as to foster and to enhance research programs in Hong Kong and in China as a whole. These experts will give month-long intensive lecture series on their most current research. They will discuss future directions in the areas of their interests, and to lead discussions in working seminars where open problems of different levels will be proposed and hopefully solved. The goal is to produce some very specific results at the end of the program.
