Jogesh K. Muppala received the Ph. D. degree in Electrical Engineering
from Duke University, Durham, NC in 1991. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science,
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST),
Clearwater Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
He was previously with Software Productivity Consortium, Herndon, VA, USA.
His research interests include
performance and dependability modeling, high speed networking,
and stochastic Petri nets.
He has published over 30 refereed journal and conference papers in these areas.
He is the program co-chair for the 1999 Pacific Rim International
Symposium on Dependable Computing.
He has also served on program committees of international conferences.
