Qiang Ye is an Associate Profesoor of Mathematics at the University of Manitoba in Canada. He was born and raised in China and attended the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei and Academia Sinica in Beijing before receiving his Ph.D. form the University of Calgary in Canada. His main research interests are large matrix computations and their applications in science and engineering such as queueing systems.
