December 16, Thursday (Registration at Hotels)

Check-in at the hotels.  Congress materials, program and name badge for participants staying in the Congress Hotels will be distributed at the Hotels from 7pm to 10:30pm.  Please refer to Direction to Congress Hotels for transportation information.
 

December 17, Friday (Opening Ceremony at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre)

Name badge is required to enter the Conference Hall

The first day of the Congress will be held at Theatre 1, The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).  Shuttle buses will respectively leave the Royal Park Hotel, Royal Plaza Hotel and Metropole Hotel to HKCEC at 7:15 a.m. on December 17.

Program includes the Opening Ceremony, presentation of the Morningside Medals of Mathematics and the Chern Prizes in the morning session.  In the afternoon, there is a Symposium on Basic Sciences and Education and three distinguished lectures given by guest speakers.  The venue will be opened at 8:00 a.m. and the ceremony will start at 9:00 a.m..

Registered participants will be served with set lunch at the HKCEC upon presentation of a lunch coupon. Participants are not required to pay for the lunch there.  The coupon is attached to the name badge.

December 18 to 22, Saturday to Wednesday (Conference at the Chinese University of Hong Kong)

Talks will be arranged at the campus of the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 9:00 a.m.  Please click here to download the campus map.  Shuttle buses have been arranged to pick participants from the hotels to CUHK on December 18 to 22, the schedule are:

Metrople Hotel:  leave at 8:15 a.m.
Royal Plaza Hotel:  leave at 8:15 a.m.
Royal Park Hotel:  leave at 8:30 a.m.

December 20, Monday (Banquet)

The congress banquet will be held at the Chinese restaurant of the Metropole Hotel from 7:00 p.m..  The banquet coupon is attached on the last page of the program.
